Chia seed oil is a buttery gold color, has a pleasant mild nutty aroma, and is high in healthy, nutritious fats, including omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids. Chia oil is popular in a variety of products including personal care products, cosmetics, nutraceuticals, food products, and is available in various bulk packaging sizes. To produce our chia oil, we start first by sourcing the highest quality raw material. We work directly with farmers and processors from all over the globe, carefully selecting those that meet our strict quality standards. We then import the seed direct to our SQF certified, allergen free facility for processing. Chia oil is made by cold-pressing whole chia seeds to extract the oil. The oil is then filtered to remove impurities, yielding a high-quality oil. By cold-pressing the seed, we preserve more of the natural color, odor, and nutrition of the oil, when compared to traditional methods using high heat and solvents. |
